Our leadership team has extensive experience and proven expertise. The individuals on Patriot Energy’s leadership team take a strong hands-on approach in their individual role to help support our clients, so Patriot is able to meet each of their overall, individual, strategic energy goals.


Steve Campbell   |   President

As President of Patriot Energy, Steve is responsible for the overall growth strategy for the business. Previously, as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Patriot Energy, Steve was responsible for the company’s Finance and Operations Functions, with primary responsibility for the company’s finance and accounting, financial planning, treasury, back-office operations as well as facilities management.

Campbell has over thirty years of experience as a finance executive in public and private software companies ranging from Raytheon, IBM Software Division, Genuity, Enterasys Networks, Juniper and Progress Software.

A results-oriented financial professional, Steve has a depth of expertise in financial reporting, financial planning, and analysis, Sales and Marketing Operations, Back Office process improvements, performance management, mergers and acquisitions, and building high-performance teams. Steve received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Management from Franklin Peirce University and a master’s degree in business from Franklin Peirce University.



Molly Oscarlece   |   Director of Operations and Sales Support

Molly has been with Patriot in various client-facing and back-office capacities since 2011, and in her current role is responsible for managing the Operations, Client Relations, and Sales Support Departments.

In addition, she maintains relationships with competitive suppliers and escalated issues that arise from those departments. She has extensive personal experience in successfully resolving a variety of client matters, including supplier contracts and billing and the client-Patriot relationship. Molly has spent most of her energy career building and maintaining relationships with our competitive supply partners.  In the past, she has managed our pricing desk and worked along with our sales leadership team.

Molly also has acted as a representative, as necessary, for Patriot with the public utility commission. She has a bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State College in Communication and Media Studies.



Danielle Gianino   |  Sales Enablement and Training Manager

Danielle Gianino is the Senior Director of Go to Market Operations at Patriot Energy. With over 15 years in the retail energy sector, Danielle has experience in Sales Management, Operations, Supplier Management, and Enablement. 

She has served in senior roles at large organizations like Wayfair and spent over 10 years at Patriot Energy when the company was just getting started. Danielle has been successful in building and growing teams aim at providing innovative solutions to drives sales with a focus on efficiency of execution.  In her current role, Danielle leads strategic and operational planning to optimize performance and impact as Patriot scales across markets.

Danielle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a concentration in Business Management from Assumption College.



Kristina Fossas   |  Director of Key Account Sales

As Director, Key Account Sales, Kristina is responsible for managing a team of Key Account Sales representatives, making sure they hit their sales targets and maintain good and healthy relationships with the largest clients of the organization, while also managing her own book of business.

Previously, as Key Account Manager of Patriot Energy, Kristina was responsible for managing her own book of business which included some of the largest Patriot Energy clients. Some primary functions included selling energy procurement services to businesses across the North East, and managing those relationships. Kristina has over 8 years of experience in the Energy Industry and over 18 years in the Sales and Client Management/Relationship Management Industry coming from companies such as GeoGlobal Partners,  Gartner Inc, and the Aberdeen Group.

As a goal-driven sales professional and manager, Kristina has an in-depth understanding of the Energy Markets, advanced selling skills, what it takes to be a good and successful leader, and how to build long-lasting relationships. Kristina received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Mass Media from Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey.



Craig Wall   |  Senior Director of Supplier and Product Management

Craig Wall, Senior Director of Supplier and Product Management, is responsible for the strategy, training, implementation, and overall growth of the energy services and commodity solutions provided through Patriot Energy.

In the five years prior to becoming Senior Director of Supplier and Product Management he held the position of Director of Energy Services, where he leads the company’s solar, efficiency, and integrated solutions program development. Craig also has experience managing Patriot’s successful channel partner agency program, providing education, training, and assistance to support channel sales. In this role, he worked with clients to effectively manage their risk of volatile electricity and natural gas commodity markets.

Craig also serves as President northeast chapter of The Energy professionals association.



Terry O’Brien   |  Regional Sales Director, New England

As Regional Sales Director for the New England market, Terry is responsible for the growth and success of three out of five Patriot Energy offices and their corresponding Outside Sales teams. Working primarily in Western Massachusetts, out of the West Springfield branch, his time is also split between the Bedford, MA headquarters, and the Brunswick, ME branch office.

Having over 20 years of continuous sales management experience, paired with 10 years of executive-level time spent as both a VP of Sales and a Chief Operating Officer in privately owned firms, Terry possesses both the traits of hard financial analytical ability, as well as the soft people skills necessary to build, inspire, and act as a transformational leader of sales teams.

Terry came onboard with Patriot in February of 2019, and with his proven abilities with one branch office, was shortly promoted to Regional Sales Director assuming the management duties of the other two offices that span the New England market. Terry’s desire for constant process improvement, to solve complex problems with the best, least complicated solution, all the time working to align the goals of employees with the goals of the organization, has been what he believes to be his key to success in helping lead companies to the next level, regardless of the industry.

After beginning his studies in Mechanical Engineering at Kettering University, he earned both a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management as well as an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.



Cheryll Hughes   |  Director of Human Resources

As Director of Human Resources, Cheryll Hughes brings over 30 years of human resources and executive administration experience in manufacturing organizations.

Hughes’ work experience includes 7 years with Yaskawa-Solectria Renewables, 10 years with Azure Dynamics and 12 years with Thermo Fisher Scientific/KeyTek Instruments. Hughes earned her Certificate in Human Resource Management from Northern Essex Community College.

She also holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications.



Matt Kinney   |   Assistant General Counsel & V.P. of Regulatory Affairs

Matt has been with Patriot since 2011, and his current position encompasses all Mantis Innovation Group companies, for which he is responsible for advising executives and staff on legal and regulatory matters and working closely with sales, operations, finance, HR, and other functional groups. He is also responsible for ensuring corporate and regulatory compliance, advocacy before public utility commissions, and dispute resolution.

Since 2016, he has been the Legislative/Regulatory Committee Chair for the Northeast Chapter of The Energy Professionals Association and he has presented at industry conferences on regulatory issues important to energy professionals.

He graduated from New England School of Law, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Syracuse University, and has a Master’s of Education degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. He is admitted to the bar in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.



Mike Breton   |   Senior Marketing Manager

Mike Breton is a Senior Marketing Manager for Patriot Energy. Breton has been with Patriot since 2012 in various marketing roles. As part of the senior leadership team he is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing plans, strategies, and initiatives, working at both a strategic and tactical level in supporting the achievement of revenue targets through the development of successful marketing campaigns.

Breton earned his degree in Marketing from UMASS Boston. He has more than 21 years of marketing experience. He is also certified in Adobe CS and completed the Energy Technology Certificate Program sponsored by National Grid.

In addition to his role at Patriot, he is also the Marketing Lead of Mantis Innovation Group, Patriots parent company. Outside of work Breton enjoys anything outdoors, especially fishing and camping, as well as spending time with his family.



Jennifer Kraft   |  Regional Sales Director – PJM

Jen has held a variety of sales-related, client-facing roles since joining Patriot Energy in 2012 as a Commercial Account Executive. She has received numerous promotions throughout her years with the company and is currently the Director of Sales for the PJM Interconnection region.

As a Regional Sales Director, Jen is responsible for the growth and success of Patriot Energy’s offices in Pennsylvania and their corresponding Outside Sales teams. Her strong leadership skills have given her the ability to provide the necessary guidance and support that consistently leads her sales team to success.

Jen has gained extensive energy industry experience throughout her career, which has given her in-depth knowledge and understanding of the energy market. Her ability to build and maintain successful relationships has allowed her to work with many clients from a wide variety of industries.

As a goal-driven sales professional, Jen strives to meet the needs of her clients and takes pride in helping them accomplish their energy goals.
